This consists of 13 franchise operators and some 300 plus affiliates all working on one world leading quotation, reservation, invoicing and despatch platform. This network provides coach travelers with the most extensive scale, range of vehicles and geographical coverage throughout the UK. MomentumCoachHire.com holds valid operator licences for all Companies in the network as well as all copies of Insurance documents. Any client can request copies of the operators licence/insurance documents in the seven days before travel and these are automatically linked to the Customer Booking Confirmation.

Momentum Hub Limited the owner of the booking system acts as agent on behalf of the Coach Hire Operators and ensures only operators who who fully comply with the following are on the platform:

  • Current holder of a VOSA operating licence. VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) is the Government body who regulate the coach industry ensuring Operators are fit and proper and all vehicles are checked on a 6 to 8 week basis as being road worthy and fit for purpose; ¬†
  • Fleet Insurance,
  • Public Liability Insurance;
  • All Suppliers accept and agree to the Customer Service Policy operated on the Network. This outlines what happens in the event of any delays or problems which are inevitably encountered from time to time by the Customer in the delivery of their Coach Hire Service. This sets out a clear and concise policy of customer refunds and compensation in the event that they do not receive what they reasonably expect to. It is important to note at this point that coach hire is transport and as such with all transport can encounter problems whether traffic, weather or mechanical problems which can lead to delays. Clients should take this into consideration when planning their event or travel – and may consider taking appropriate insurance.
  • Service Level adherence. We ask every one of our clients to give feedback on our suppliers with a mark our of 5 and any comment they choose to add. Any Supplier who fails to achieve the average score of 3 out of 5 is declined admission to the booking platform. Any supplier who fails to achieve the average score of 3.5 is declined admission to the booking platform for ‘executive services’. Any supplier who fails to achieve an average score of 4 is declined admission to the booking platform for luxury services.
  • Clients who specifically request CRB¬†(DRB checks) checked drivers (eg: schools) can also have a copy of the CRM documentation in the week in advance of travel.
